Know Drugs is a substance use prevention and harm reduction curriculum for middle schoolers that I created for my MPH capstone. The program gives teens skills to navigate norms, narratives, and misinformation about drugs.
I was selected to be a part of the CDC's Undergraduate Public Health Scholars Programs. I spent the summer working with various community organizations in Sacramento, California.
For my undergrad capstone, I explored why NHPI women in Utah face higher breast cancer mortality. I surveyed women at the Pasifika 5K and shared my findings at the Utah Public Health Association’s annual conference.
